Nikko Toshogu Shrine, the resting place of Tokugawa Ieyasu, is a world heritage site with a long list of titles. The entrance fee is 1600 yen. As the founder of the Edo period, I expected more grandeur from his tomb, which turned out to be much simpler than I imagined. It's just a small frame with a mound the size of a bronze bell.
