The Immortal Village at the Foot of Mount Fanjing - Yunshui Village

After coming down from Mount Fanjing, stay somewhere not far from Yunshui Village. The next day, wake up naturally and take a stroll around Yunshui Village. ♥ The village is not very big. You can park your car in the parking lot and just walk around (there's no need to rent a bicycle). The core area is near Shenlong Pond. It's very comfortable to walk around it. Sitting in the shade and enjoying the breeze makes you reluctant to leave. ♥ Next to Shenlong Pond, there is a mountain trail with a viewing platform where you can overlook the entire village. After reaching the platform, you will find another mountain road, so you can go down to the village from there (though it's not recommended as there's not much scenery to see; it's better to return to Shenlong Pond the same way). ♥ Yunshui Village is known as the "First Tujia Village in China," but you won't see much of the unique ethnic flavor on a regular day. There are many watermelons in Shenlong Pond that you can buy. Just navigate to "Yunshui Village." 💰 The village is free to enter, parking costs 20 yuan, and there are accommodations and restaurants in the village. 🍚 For dining, I recommend "Jingshe Chef," which has a nice environment, good cooking skills, and reasonable prices. A pure tour takes about 1 hour.
