Just in time for the first-grade child's Chinese textbook to learn "Farewell to Wang Lun", we followed in Li Bai's footsteps during the summer vacation. The child was very interested. 🌟Location: Jing County, Xuancheng, Anhui 🌟Accommodation: We chose to stay directly at the Peach Blossom Pool Scenic Area's Poetry and Painting Landscape Hotel. The hotel is a row of villas with an exterior that blends into the scenery, designed in an ancient Huizhou architectural style. Each villa contains several rooms, and the decor is relatively old. However, you can enter the park for free, and most importantly, there is no time limit. In the morning and evening, there are no tourists, providing an exclusive experience. During our 2-day stay, it rained lightly on one day. The clouds and mist were sometimes thick and sometimes thin, truly a place where the poet immortal once visited. 🌟Food: One dinner at the hotel was quite ordinary, but a private kitchen beef restaurant in the town was pretty good. 🌟Edutainment: 1. Let the child learn who Wang Lun was. It turns out he was once the county magistrate of Jing County. 2. What was his relationship with Li Bai? It turns out he also loved socializing, was straightforward, good at poetry and prose, and particularly admired Li Bai. 3. How did he invite Li Bai to Peach Blossom Pool? He knew Li Bai had come to Jing County and specially wrote a letter to Li Bai. In the letter, he said, "Do you like traveling, sir? There are ten miles of peach blossoms here. Do you like drinking, sir? There are ten thousand inns here." Successfully inviting Li Bai. Only upon arrival did Li Bai realize that the so-called "ten miles of peach blossoms" referred to the Peach Blossom Pool, and the "ten thousand inns" referred to an inn owned by someone with the surname Wan. The child had heard this in class, and taking him to find the ruins of the Wan's Inn brought him closer to Li Bai, making it feel like Li Bai was not just a figure in books but someone traveling with him. 4. The beauty of the artistic conception in Chinese culture cannot be expressed in words; it can only be felt personally, enhancing aesthetic appreciation.
