Yongtai Ancient City

Yongtai Ancient City is located in Yongtai Village, Sitan Township, Jingyuan County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province. It is a large-scale earthen ancient city for military garrison defense during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Yongtai City is 520 meters long from east to west and 500 meters wide from north to south, covering an area of more than 300,000 square meters. There are semi-circular moon cities built on the east, west, and north sides of the city. Relics such as stone steles have been unearthed, and there is a moat around the city. This city is known as a textbook example of ancient Chinese military fortresses!
