※During the Tang Dynasty, the Zhuang nationality had a 'Song Fairy' named Liu Sanjie. She was extraordinarily intelligent, often using folk songs to praise labor and love, and to expose the evils of the wealthy. The rich despised and feared her, so on the third day of the third lunar month in a certain year, they took advantage of Liu Sanjie's trip to the mountains to chop wood, sent someone to cut the vines, causing her to fall off a cliff to her death. To commemorate the 'Song Fairy', people later gathered on the third day of the third lunar month to sing folk songs together, which would last for three days and nights, thus forming the tradition of the Song Festival.
