8-Day Trip to Kanazawa and Nagoya

🗺️Destination Introduction 📍Itinerary 👉Day 1: 🧭Route From the airport to the hotel in Kanazawa🏨, stroll around the malls near Kanazawa Station, have dinner🍲, and end the first day✔️ 👉Day 2: In the morning, have breakfast at Omicho Market (croquettes, sushi, seafood), then visit (Kanazawa Castle Park, Kenrokuen Garden, 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa), and finally have dinner🥣 near Kanazawa Station 👉Day 3: In the morning, take a bus to Shirakawa-go, about a 2-hour drive. You can first go to the Ogimachi Castle Observation Deck to take photos📷 (you can walk or take a bus). It is recommended to take a bus for those with mobility issues. The morning scenery is beautiful, and you can also find someone to take paid photos for you. There are also specialty foods and souvenirs for sale at the top of the mountain. At the foot of the mountain, there are Shirakawa-go Wada House and Shirakawa Hachiman Shrine. Finally, take a bus (about 1 hour) to Takayama⛰️ for dinner🍲 👉Day 4: At 8:00 AM, visit the Miyagawa Morning Market in Hida-Takayama, then go to Takayama Old Town and Takayama Jinya, and have dinner🍲 👉Day 5: After breakfast, take the JR to Gero (about 1.5 hours). After dropping off your luggage, you can walk around and soak your feet in the hot springs♨️, stroll around Gero Shopping Street, have dinner at the hotel, and soak in the hot springs♨️ 👉Day 6: After breakfast at 7:30 AM, you can soak in the hot springs♨️ at the hotel before checking out, then take the JR to Nagoya. After arriving at the hotel🏨 in Nagoya, you can visit Nagoya TV Tower, Oasis 21, and Sakae Shopping District, then have dinner near the hotel 👉Day 7: At 9:30 AM, line up at ATSUTA Houraiken Main Store to eat the famous Hitsumabushi (grilled eel rice). After getting your ticket, you can walk around Atsuta Shrine nearby. After eating, visit Nagoya Castle, then go to Osu Shopping Street, and finally have dinner 👉Day 8: In the morning, you can head to Nagoya Airport early. There are many souvenir shops there, and you can also go to the airport observation deck to watch✈️ takeoffs and landings. 💡Tips: The best time to see autumn leaves🍁 is from early October to early November, as there were not many autumn leaves🍁 when we went.
