Hiking and waterfall viewing

The Tad Somphamit rapids are a sequence of gushing white water rapids on Don Khon Island. It also goes by the name Li Phi, which means "Spirit Snare" since it is thought that the waters operate as a trap for evil spirits. The opportunity to observe local fisherman setting bamboo traps here to catch fish as they swim downriver is also a feature of the rapids.
