Swim with turtles on Koh Tao

In the summer of 2022 I was heading home from China and took a three week detour around Thailand a place I want to spend more time in. One of the places that enjoyed the most was Koh Tao. It’s not a big island (a boat ride with several swimming stops takes less than a day. Koh Tao means Turtle Island in Thai and at our last stop we did indeed see a couple large sea turtles swimming about. Such wonderful creatures to watch for a bit before moving on. I was really upset that my GoPro wasn’t recording when they showed up but my memory will do until I get back there someday.
