Bird Park in KL

Billed as the biggest walk through aviary in the world its easy to forget that you actually in an aviary during you visit. Most if the park is landscaped with trees, rivers ind plants to give the birds (and monkeys) as natural a home as possible. Some species are in separate cages but the number of birds in the main area means they have plenty of birds to interact with as in the wild. There are plenty of sheltered areas to rest when it gets hot as well as two snack and drink kiosks and multiple toilets. There is ramped access everywhere, although some areas are a bit steep due to the layout of the land. There are alternative routes to get round the steepest areas. There are regular feeding shows at fixed times during the day. Some of the birds seemed fearless and were happy to walk right next to you. You can also have your photo taken with birds in a couple of areas, we would recommend feeding the lorries for the best value (2RM). #kualalumpurtrip
