Gangouwei Wetland Park, a drone photography hotspot, is a popular 'Mirror of the Sky' check-in point in Kunming

To capture the 'Sky Mirror' effect at Gangouwei, the weather conditions must be sunny and windless. The weather during my visit to Kunming met these requirements, but unfortunately, there were no clouds in the sky, resulting in the absence of blue sky and white clouds reflections. The entire island-like tail directly faces Dian Lake and Kunming city. At sunrise, the sun jumps out of the water, and the golden water surface is sparkling, which is incredibly beautiful. The scale is not large, it's just a gravel path of more than 200 meters, with ginkgo and metasequoia trees of varying heights on both sides. As it is a latecomer, there are not many seagulls. Personally, I don't think it's very playable. If you're not a drone photography enthusiast, I wouldn't recommend making a special trip. Tips for Gangouwei Wetland: 1⃣Get off at Puping Village Station on Metro Line 3 and walk straight along the eastward road to get there. 2⃣Self-driving navigation: Navigate to Gangouwei (do not navigate to 'Sky Mirror'). After parking the car in the parking lot, cross the wide road, and the small road opposite is the place. There are signs. 3⃣No admission fee. You can plan to come over on weekends, as it's not very crowded.
