It is the venue for the Kunming South Asia Expo and Import and Export Commodity Fair. During this trip to Kunming, I stayed for four days at this hotel by Dianchi Lake, which was comfortable and full of surprises. The simple and modern Chinese design complements the temple pagodas, and in the evening when the lights are lit, it feels like traveling back to the prosperous Tang Dynasty. From the rooftop, you can overlook Dianchi Lake and the distant mountains. On clear days, the visibility is extremely high, and a real-life version of the 'Thousand Mile Landscape' appears. 🍽 Dining Recommendations: Particularly worth mentioning is the dining and afternoon tea here. The mushroom-shaped afternoon tea desserts are almost deceptively real, and both Western and Chinese cuisine are of high quality. The afternoon tea set for two is particularly intoxicating. More than a dozen exquisite snacks, sweet and savory, allow your taste buds to experience a variety of flavors at the same time. There's also the Yunnan specialty, Crossing-the-Bridge Noodles, with a delicate texture and rich soup base that makes one linger and forget to return. 🛏 Room Facilities: The quality of the guest rooms is very good, stable and comfortable, and the attention to detail shows the high quality everywhere, with every corner revealing the ingenuity of the design. Upon check-in, the welcome fruit prepared early in the room made me feel at home.
