Super beautiful!! Baohua Temple has a long history, built by the Ming Dynasty Zen master Jing Lun, and has nearly 600 years of history to date. Baohua Temple was severely damaged by an earthquake during the Qing Dynasty's Yongzheng reign and was completely destroyed due to various historical reasons. What we see today is Baohua Temple rebuilt on the original site in 2001, which is the largest wooden structure in Kunming's urban area. The temple's red walls and yellow tiles are full of ancient charm, which is why many people refer to it as the 'Mini Forbidden City'. Wandering through the temple, with the scent of incense and the sound of Buddhist chants, if you visit during an event, you can also listen to the monks reciting scriptures. Compared to the bustling Yuantong Temple and Panlong Temple, the tranquility of Baohua Temple is indeed a refreshing change for the senses, as if even the wind blowing past your ears and the shadows swaying under the trees become imbued with Zen, bringing peace to the mind and soul...
