First, the starting point of the scenic area is at the Haigeng Park Cable Car to Dianchi Lake Park. Take a taxi to Haigeng Park or Kunming Tourist Cable Car. Note: it is the tourist cable car, not the Longmen cable car! It is Haigeng Park, not Haigeng Dam! Haigeng Dam is 2 kilometers away from the park unless you want to take a walk... Haigeng Park also has seagulls that you can feed, so there's no need to walk the extra 2 kilometers (I'm lazy, can't help it). 2. Buy a one-way cable car ticket for 60 yuan per person. Do not buy a round-trip ticket because you can take a shuttle bus directly to the subway station from Longmen unless you want to see Dianchi Lake again and return to Haigeng Park. This cable car is fully enclosed, crossing Dianchi Lake all the way to the mid-mountain of Xishan, with one car accommodating b people. 3. After getting off the first cable car, you will reach the entrance of Longmen Scenic Area. Buy the Longmen ticket here. Note: The first section is just the cable car ticket. The Longmen cable car is fully open and very long. You can sit alone or with one other person, so the queue is long, and the wind is strong on the mountain. Wear a hat. Near the end, someone will take photos for 20 yuan each. You can see Dianchi Lake all the way up. 6. The downhill road is indeed very rugged and tiring. People with weak legs should consider carefully. The mountain roads are mostly one-way, with staff and signs at every intersection. Finally, take the electric car back to the cable car queue area. The final shuttle bus is outside the scenic area. This ticket can be bought separately. It stops at other scenic spots along the way and finally reaches the subway station, where you can take a taxi or subway.
