Roaming around jewel. Beautiful day exploring the city of Lahore and immersing ourselves in the majestic Lahore Fort and the crystal palace. It was constructed under the reign of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1631–32, with some additions later under Sikh Maharaja Ranjit Singh. The ornate white marble pavilion is inlaid with pietra dura and complex mirror-work of the finest quality. All made me moon-eyed about the place.
