Wat Sun Pa Yang Luang in Lamphun: Free Admission, One of Thailand's Top Ten Most Beautiful Temples!

Wat Sun Pa Yang Luang is located in Lamphun, about a half-hour drive from the old city of Chiang Mai. Lamphun is also known as the 'Queen's Land of Thailand.' A few years ago, this temple was rated as one of the top ten most beautiful temples in Thailand. The entire temple architecture is primarily white and gold, exuding a solemn and majestic aura. Upon entering the temple, one immediately feels a sense of peace and tranquility. The temple is free to visit, with no admission fee. Visitors are required to remove their shoes when entering the main temple area and are advised not to wear overly revealing clothing. If you are traveling to Lamphun by train, you can walk straight ahead from the train station for about twenty minutes following the temple's name on the navigation. It's quite convenient and definitely worth a visit!
