Xijiang is a rural town in Leishan county, Guizhou, China. The town is renowned for its Miao villages and their custom and human relationships. The most popular one, the Xijiang Miao village. One day is not enough to explore throughly the place. For it is rich in culture and architectural design, these Miao villages will surely capture your interest. Hike up a bit if you want to get on the Observation deck so you can have a good bird's eyeview of the Xijiang Miao village. Walk on the side of the river to get a better view of the stacked-up houses. Get lost on those small alleyways uphill. Yes you will get tired from walking, but hey, the place is really beautiful.
