A three-day, two-night trip from Guangdong to Hechi and Libo for a special forces tour

Day one, at 5:30 in the morning, we set off from the Pearl River Delta in Guangdong and after an 8-hour journey, we arrived at Hechi's Ge Ya Si Valley, where we visited a cave that is said to have made it into the Guinness World Records. It was indeed spectacular. It's surprising that you can take a sightseeing car through it. We stayed at the Ge Ya Si Valley Hotel at night (a bit pricey and a bit old), but I suggest booking the Yao Wang Fu Hotel built in 2023, which is a bit off the beaten path but newer. Day two, we left at 7:15 in the morning after breakfast at the hotel (the breakfast was really disappointing, with only meatless rice noodles, sweet potatoes, eggs, and fried dough sticks) and arrived at the Large and Small Seven Holes in an hour. There's a small village before the scenic area, and if there's a large influx of tourists and you can't enter the scenic area, I suggest checking it out. The water flowing out from the Small Seven Holes is particularly emerald green, like jade. It rained before and after our arrival that day, and the water volume was especially large, constantly crashing against the river banks, as if cleansing our weary souls from the rat race. The scenic area itself is even more beautiful, needless to say. A few reminders: 1. Parking inside the scenic area is capped at 30 yuan, and that's pretty much the price when you're done. 2. Also, I suggest that those with children buy water guns and bring clothes and shoes. 3. If you're going rafting (50 yuan per person), it's also recommended to bring a raincoat, a waterproof bag, and water shoes. 4. Be mentally prepared to walk more than 20,000 steps a day. 5. The Large Seven Holes aren't very big, and apart from seeing the natural bridge, there's not much else to see. It takes about an hour to complete. 6. If you're not staying in the scenic area, I suggest leaving the provincial road before dark, as the provincial road is a mountain road with eighteen turns and no lights, which is quite terrifying. We stayed in the Jinchengjiang District of Hechi at night, a place you reach right after getting off the highway. It's a good midpoint stop, and it's surrounded by mountains with pleasant scenery, clear mountains, and beautiful waters. It's also close to the city without being in the city. Day three, we returned home.
