Selected by 'National Geographic' as one of the 'Six Most Beautiful Ancient Villages in China' 🏘️, it's not overly commercialized, primitive and quaint, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. For those who dislike the strong commercial atmosphere and want to experience authentic ethnic culture, this is an excellent choice 🌞. --- Travel Tips 📍 Address: Navigate to Zhaoxing Dong Village, Liping County, Guizhou 🚗 Transportation: Self-driving is recommended, it takes about 3.5 hours by car from Guiyang. 🚄 High-speed train: Take the high-speed train to Congjiang Station, then take a car to the Dong Village. 🎫 Ticket: 38 yuan (From now until August 31, all A-level scenic spots in Guizhou offer half-price tickets, and students from primary to university can enter for free with their student ID. Non-working day highway tolls are half off for ETC users). ❗️❗️ Friends from Guangdong can enter for free 👍. --- I was amazed by the beauty of the Dong Village when I first saw it! It is the largest Dong village in the Dong ethnic region of Southeast Guizhou, surrounded by trees, terraced fields, and rice 🌳🌾. Due to the lack of over-commercialization, the original ecology of the Dong Village has been well preserved. Dong people sell fruits, vegetables, and drinks on the streets, full of a strong sense of life. There are five grand Drum Towers in the village, divided by clan surnames into Ren, Yi, Li, Zhi, and Xin, which are very spectacular and a must-see 🤩🏰. --- Must-Visit Attractions ✅ Tang'an Terraced Fields 🌾🌅📷 Don't miss it if you like terraced fields. It's about a 20-minute drive from the Dong Village. The people here are more primitive, and the winding terraced fields are spectacular, especially in summer, the beauty of the terraced fields is healing. Staying here for one night, waiting for a sunset, is very comfortable and definitely worth a visit. Take a set of beautiful photos, stroll around slowly, and you'll find great photo spots everywhere 😍. ✅ Viewing Platform 🌇 At the entrance of the ancient house, there is a supreme viewing platform where you can overlook the entire Dong Village, perfect for photography 👌. ✅ Dong Village Rice Fields 🌾 There are several lush green rice fields at the entrance, and a photo with the Dong Village will definitely be amazing 🤩. ✅ Drum Tower 🥁 There are signs marking the location of the Drum Towers along the way, find a suitable spot to take a photo with the Drum Tower, the photo effect is super cool 👍. ✅ Tie-dye Workshop 🎨 The uniform tie-dye workshops, with neatly arranged clothes drying, look like a beautiful painting. The small bridges and flowing water here are also great for photography, and it's my favorite spot.
