A rural village, hidden in the mountains, feels like returning to the home of childhood memories!

Xujiashan is located in Moping Village, Jiangkou Town, Liuba County. To reach the village, one must first cross a wooden suspension bridge spanning the river and follow the winding mountain path. Accompanied by the babbling stream, we travel between the valleys. After crossing two small stone arch bridges and climbing up the hillside, the view suddenly opens up. In a wide mountain hollow, there are more than a dozen mountain dwellings with distinctive Guanzhong characteristics. The path to the village entrance is full of Cornus trees. Even in early winter, the trees are still hung with red Cornus fruits. According to the elderly in the village, their clan has moved here from Guanzhong since the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, spanning over 12 generations. Although the village is called Xujiashan, all the families in the village are of the Zhang clan. Nowadays, due to its remote location and inconvenient transportation, most of the families in the village have moved to live by the roadside at the foot of the mountain. Only a few elderly people remain in the village. They still stick to their homes because they can't bear to leave the family business left by their ancestors, and they are used to the quiet living environment of the mountain village. The elderly in the village, when they see us tourists from outside, show the simplicity and kindness unique to the mountain people. After a few greetings, they become familiar. The aunt brings out her own sun-dried persimmon cakes for us to taste, and the uncle enthusiastically tells us about the dusty past of the village.
