This mountain climbing feast is much more healing than I imagined. Although the height is considerable, the feeling of climbing up is really good. I am quite afraid of heights, but when I saw the cable car at Laojun Mountain, it felt much better, very stable! My boyfriend and I each paid 255 yuan Round-trip bus ticket ➕ Laojun Mountain ticket 🎫 ➕ First-level cable car round trip 1️⃣ Gather at Luoyang Station at 6:30 in the morning, the next stop is Yingtianmen to pick up the next group of people. It is recommended not to choose too early a gathering time, you can choose a closer one, getting more sleep in the morning is really important. I only woke up fully when we reached Laojun Mountain, I was so sleepy! Be sure to go to bed early the night before!!! 2️⃣ Arrive at Laojun Mountain around 10 o'clock, the bus takes you directly to Zhongling Cable Car, straight to Zhongtian Gate (there is a queue, but it moves quickly, eight people per cable car 🚡 3️⃣ We had lunch at Zhongtian Gate because it takes a long time to climb from Zhongtian Gate to the Golden Summit. Replenishing energy ensures you won't get tired while climbing. However, lazy people can take the second-level cable car and then the straight elevator directly to the Golden Summit. 4️⃣ From Zhongtian Gate, climb about 500 steps in the morning to reach the Ten-Mile Gallery. At this point, you have completed one-third of the journey! Keep going ✊ 5️⃣ There are rock climbing and glass walkways in the middle of the Ten-Mile Gallery. I, being afraid of heights, just looked and didn't go! 6️⃣ Before reaching the Golden Summit Taoist Temple complex, you will first see the Moral Mansion. Behind the Moral Mansion is the Golden Summit, and in front is the Laojun Temple. Laojun Temple has two branches, one is the Jade Emperor Summit, dedicated to the Jade Emperor, where you can pray for official positions. Remember to fulfill your vows if they come true. The other is the Liangbao Platform, the treasure of Taishang Laojun, for those seeking wealth. 7️⃣ You can write a wishing plaque and hang it anywhere you like. Every place is filled with dazzling red wishing plaques! 8️⃣ The downhill path is different from the uphill path. If you still have energy, you can climb down, which takes about 30-40 minutes. If you don't have the energy, you can take the slide, similar to a slide, and then take the second-level cable car (there are many people in line) back to Zhongtian Gate and then take the first-level cable car. ⚠️ Warm Tips: 1️⃣ If you go in July or August, be sure to use sunscreen!
