Trekking all the way to Phum Phuk

The name Phum Phuk refers to a large stupa near Luang Namtha, albeit the one on display is a replica of the original, completed in 2003. Although the ancient stupa was bombed during the Second Indochina War, the new gold replica is nonetheless rather lovely.
