In the bright and beautiful March, the three of us best friends finally gathered in Kunming and drove three hours to Luoping. We checked into the Luoping Xintiandi Hotel that day because it has triple rooms, which are most suitable for us. After lunch and a short rest, the three of us drove to see the flowers. It was the peak blooming period for Luoping's rapeseed flower sea, and there were many visitors. Long queues formed at the entrance of the scenic area to take the sightseeing bus or the small train. We chose the sightseeing bus, which was convenient for getting off at any time. Retirees have a half-price discount, and those who are 65 years old can visit for free. I must say, the rapeseed flowers here are different. As far as the eye can see, millions of acres of rapeseed flowers are blooming competitively, quite spectacular. When the wind blew, the rapeseed fields made a 'whooshing' sound, and the waves of flowers undulated, exuding a vigorous and upward vitality, which was extremely wonderful. The queue to see the panoramic view from the Jinji Peak viewing platform was very long, so we gave up the chance to take the most beautiful photos. The scenic area was picturesque everywhere, and the three retired friends had a great time playing in the flower sea. Walking along the path, smelling the fragrance of flowers, sitting beside the rapeseed flowers waiting for the sunset, that afternoon, we were healed by the rapeseed flowers of Luoping. When the sun set, the orange-red sunlight sprinkled down, adding a warm color to the golden rapeseed flowers, indescribably beautiful. We sat there, watching the sunset over the distant mountains slowly sink, and at that moment, my heart was at peace, and my eyes were filled only with this beauty. This is a gift from nature, treasured in our hearts. The next day, we didn't go to the paid scenic spots again, but wandered around as we pleased. The countryside of Luoping in spring was full of beautiful scenery, and the photos we took were also very pretty.
