A Counterfeit Version of Venice - The Oriental Water City

The Venetian water city of Italy is indeed famous, a popular travel destination many yearn for. Of course, going to Italy isn't that easy, but there is a European-style town in China modeled after Venice, known as the 'Counterfeit Version of Venice' - Dalian's Oriental Water City. With its clear winding waterways, European-style castle architecture, Venice's iconic mode of transportation - the 'gondola' sharp boats, and the young men dressed as Venetian sailors rowing the boats, at first glance, it really does have a bit of the charm of Venice. On the seaside viewing walkway of the Oriental Water City, besides enjoying the seascape, there are also many adorable seagulls. We bought bread to feed them, which was a lot of fun. The ticket price for a gondola ride in the Oriental Water City is 60 yuan per person* per ride, lasting 15 minutes, with each gondola seating 6 people, three people sitting opposite each other in rows. I want to complain about the gondola; our family of four asked if we could buy 6 tickets and just start the ride. The answer was no, that would be considered chartering the boat. How much is it to charter the boat? The answer was 598 yuan. I really don't understand what the difference is between buying 6 tickets to fill the seats and chartering the boat? In the end, they said they do not serve people over 70 years old. We had elderly people with us, so of course, we left disappointed.
