Hiking in Madeira 🏖️

#hikingtrails Hiking in Madeira was an incredible experience that I’ll never forget! The island’s dramatic landscapes and lush greenery make it a hiker's paradise. I tackled the Levada do Caldeirão Verde trail, which was about 13 kilometers long and free to access. The route took me through stunning forests, with waterfalls and breathtaking views of the valleys below. Afterward, I visited the nearby town of Santana, famous for its traditional thatched houses, which added a charming touch to my trip. I also enjoyed local cuisine in a cozy restaurant there. Madeira’s diverse hiking trails, from easy walks to challenging routes, cater to all levels.
