Tharatipchai Pradit Temple: A Beautiful Temple in Mae Taeng District
Explore the temple during the rainy season with Trip. One of the interesting temples in Chiang Mai is Tharatipchai Pradit Temple, located in Mae Taeng District. This temple is peaceful and beautiful, with stunning scenery and a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for those looking to relax and make merit. The temple features:
- The Ubosot: The main building of the temple, showcasing Lanna-style architecture that is both beautiful and intricate. Inside, there are murals depicting King Rama IX and a principal Buddha image. Most tourists come here to pray for success in life. The surrounding area of the temple is a natural garden, beautiful and shady, ideal for strolling and relaxing in the refreshing atmosphere, especially during the rainy season.
Travel: It is recommended to travel by private car or rent a car, as the temple is located far from Chiang Mai city.
Dress Code: Visitors should dress modestly and appropriately, as it is a sacred place.

4Sky | A nature escape in Chiang Mai 🇹🇭🌿🌴🌱🌳
#timetotravel
You never would have thought, up on the mountains of Mae Taeng in Chiang Mai, Nort, there is a hidden glamping resort that is surrounded by greeneries – Chiang Mai’s natural treasures. If you wake up early enough, you can also catch the sunrise and the iconic sea of fog.
4Sky offers only five bubble domes, four premium and one luxury dome. Each dome comes with a cozy air-conditioned bedroom, a semi-outdoor bathroom, and a private balcony where you can find a giant net and a private outdoor bathtub that overlooks the mountains. I believe the difference between the two kinds of domes is that the luxury dome comes with complimentary dinner and the premium dome doesn’t.
The five bubble domes are located quite far from each other, and there is also partitioning which ensures guests’ privacy.
I stayed one night at the premium dome, and it costs around 1175 HKD for the room excluding food.
I would highly recommend staying a night at 4Sky at a glamping facility when you are in Chiang Mai because I do believe this experienced is once in a lifetime!! But do note that, since you are surrounded by greenies and are essentially living in the forest, you will see quite a few bugs and flies.

When you get there you’ll learn to feed and take care them as much as possible. Enjoy 😊 the nature of beautiful plants and flowers in this area too. 🌺 The owner is very friendly and funny 😄. So I think you gonna love them when you touch and cuddle with your kindness.

Elephants
There is a rough plan for the day, but the key here is if the elephants don’t want to do it then its not happening! So the plan may change.
The break down is. Interact with the elephants, touch and talk to, play with etc. Next feed them bananas, can put directly into the mouth and the elephants really like this. Then you make a vitamin bowl to feed them, this is a mixture of various fruits into a mush which you feed them. Next is the most fun, mud bath and cleaning. Get in a mud pool and get dirty! Splash mud and clean them down. The elephants REALLY enjoyed this part a lot.
Next its a great lunch and goodbye to the elephants. It was quite surreal and humbling being so up close and personal to these gentle giants. They are so peaceful and kind, and they have had a hard life. They were work elephants which did many years of hard labour in logging camps. They love playing and eating, and as long as you’re careful its not really possible to get injured.
You can also buy some priducts made from elephant dung. The costs involved here are extraordinarily high and they get no government funding, so please help.

If you love waterfalls, we’ve already got a few on my post for you to check out some of my post. But if you’re looking for an adventure to a secret waterfall, we gotchu. Mork Fa Waterfall in Mae Taeng is a bit outside of the city, and feels like a hidden oasis.
This tall and majestic waterfall is beautiful and lacks the crowds of some of the other more accessible or popular falls in the area. We arrived around 9:00 a.m. and were the only ones there for a while. There’s a sandy area and a nice pool for swimming right by the falls, a lush jungle and cave, as well as some smaller pools further out. Bring some snacks and find a sunny patch to have a little picnic.

Rafting in Thailand
#rafting
When I was in Thailand, my friend took us to a rafting.
I have to say that if you want the most exciting thing, you must play outside.
I can't remember it. It may have been drifting for half an hour.
The key is that the name coin is 20 yuan per person. If you are right, it is 20 yuan.
A local Thai friend took us there.
The whole process was quite exciting, and the water got into the ear.
It's still a little dangerous, but the friends who led us said they would fall down. But they can save it. I actually cried and laughed..

Elephant Nature Park: A Heartfelt Encounter with Thailand’s Majestic Elephants
#animalcontact
Elephant Nature Park in Northern Thailand is a sanctuary that offers visitors the chance to connect with one of the world’s most beloved animals—the Asian elephant. Located just outside of Chiang Mai, this ethical sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of elephants that have suffered from abuse, providing them with a safe and loving environment to live out their lives in peace.
Visiting Elephant Nature Park is a deeply moving experience, where you can witness the gentle giants up close, free from the chains and harsh treatment they often endure elsewhere. Instead of riding the elephants, visitors are invited to interact with them in a way that is respectful and enriching for both the animals and the people. You can help feed them, walk alongside them as they roam the grounds, and even join them in a river bath—a joyful experience that highlights the elephants’ playful nature.
The park is also home to other rescued animals, including dogs, cats, buffalo, and more, making it a haven for animal lovers of all kinds. The staff at Elephant Nature Park are passionate about their mission, and they provide visitors with valuable insights into the challenges facing elephants in Thailand and the efforts being made to protect them.
Spending a day at Elephant Nature Park is more than just an encounter with wildlife—it’s a chance to contribute to the well-being of these incredible creatures and to learn about the importance of conservation. The bond you’ll feel with the elephants, combined with the stunning natural beauty of the park, makes for an experience that touches the heart and soul

Instagramable cafe
The caramellow cafe is very beautiful. It's instagram worthy from every angle. I spent a good hour her having my croissant sandwich and matcha latte. Both of them tasted delicious. It gets a mix crowd of families, people dressed in formals and young groups too. I liked the service as well. Very polite and good recommendations. Price wise, only a slightly higher place compared to cafe's of this type. But it was a well spent afternoon hanging out over here. So I didn't mind. It's good for a visit when in Chiang mai.

Million-dollar View at Baan Suk Kik (No Partner Needed)
One of the must-visit places in Chiang Mai that you'll want to revisit is 📍Huai Kub Kab. If you're looking to enjoy a natural camping vibe, live music, BBQ pork, and cool weather around a campfire, make sure to add this place to your list!!
To get here, you need to take a local pickup truck. The journey is rugged and fun. When I went with friends, we sang Disney songs all the way in the back of the truck, laughing all the way.
There are several accommodations up there, but we chose to stay at 🏠 Baan Suk Kik. No partner, no problem 😬✌️. We opted for a tent-style room with an inner tent. At night, you can see a sea of stars, and in the morning, a sea of mist. It's absolutely amazing.
The highlight that made us come back again is the BBQ pork party around the campfire 🔥 with live music and new friends to meet. We were lucky to meet a lovely group of people, which made the campfire atmosphere even more enjoyable 🍻.
If you want to experience a chill atmosphere, beautiful nature, and have fun with friends, come join us 💖.

⭐️ Additional Information ⭐️
🚙 We rented a car and drove from the city for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. We parked at Chang Yim Shop in Kaeng Kued, which costs 60 baht for parking. Then, we took a 4-wheel drive pickup truck up to Huai for 200 baht per person.
🥂 There is a grocery store up there, so no worries about starving. The cafe is called Malam Bak Cafe (Pro tip: ask to go up on the roof for some amazing photos 555).
🏠 Accommodation costs: Tent-style room 1,600 baht for two people (there are cheaper and more expensive options, but we chose the mid-range one for the best view. Note: shared bathroom, so shower quickly because it gets cold at night).

A perfect instagrammable spot in CNX
One Sunday morning a friend suggested us to go to Danteywada which is 40 kms outside Chiang Mai city in Mae Tang district. The place is a man made waterfall with plenty of them around and very beautiful for taking nice pictures. There are flowers spots as well and they are newly constructing tree house cabins to make it more appealing.
The place also has goats and rabbits to be fed and pet. There is a cafe where we can have some food and coffee and also some other street food. The entry ticket is 80 bhat and I think it’s totally worth.

Captivating Elephant Painting in Chiangmai
During my travels in Chiang Mai, Thailand, I stumbled upon a sanctuary where elephants showcased their artistic talents. Guided by skilled mahouts, these gentle giants painted mesmerizing strokes on canvases, creating stunning works of art. Witnessing their creativity was awe-inspiring, and knowing that each painting supported their welfare made the experience even more meaningful. It was a beautiful reminder of the bond between humans and animals, and a highlight of my trip to Chiang Mai.#trip

Chiang Mai camping homestay, how can you miss it?
Camplife is a very good camping homestay in Mae Taeng, Chiang Mai. The arrival of Chiang Mai after the rain, the air is fresh and cool after the rain, it is also a good choice to go camping in the suburbs at this time.
Camplife covers a huge area, more than 170,000 square meters. The camp is built along the lake, with a wide view, and you can overlook the beautiful mountains. Camping in such an environment is great!
Staying in the tent homestay here, you can watch the stars around the bonfire at night, or have a barbecue while drinking.
