This park requires an entrance fee provided if you want to take the shuttle which brings you pass the sun link sea hotel, into the Chulin Trial and also pass the flower centre at the Shanlinhsi Nature Park. But if you really want to save cost, I recommend you pay the shuttle up towards the falls and walk back down. Don't worry it won't be hot, during winter it will be cold and spring time pretty cooling cause of the beautiful trees. So, the main attraction here is the waterfall located right at the end of the trial, it is not wheel chair friendly but it's well pathed. Sadly, during our time, the waterfall is dried up and there isn't much of a gushing if water. But its an impressive sight to see from this 30m waterfall up in a elevation of 1600m.
