Otaru Western Art Museum

The Western Art Museum is located next to the Otaru Canal. It is about a 20-minute walk from Otaru Train Station. The Western Art Museum is one of the members of the Otaru Art Village, and if you have enough time, purchasing the Otaru Art Village pass is more cost-effective. The museum houses a large collection of glass and ceramic exhibits, as well as glass murals with Western religious themes. The only downside is that the exhibit descriptions are only in Japanese.
