The iconic Turf Tavern, a place of celebrities

Wonderful place found by luck while we were exploring the city. You need to go through a little passage (second picture) and you will find yourself like being in a fairy story. The Turf is the oldest pub in Oxford, dated in 1381. It used to be a place to gambling and betting as it wasn’t permitted inside the city. 📍Address: Next to Bodleian Library, about 5min max from there by walk. #oxford #turftavern #celebrities #oldtown
