Angelina 📍226 Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris, France The Angelina I visited is quite large, and by 10 a.m., there were already many people dining inside, including both tourists and locals. The counter at the entrance also sells a variety of chestnut spreads, cakes, and more, and business was clearly booming. I had the chestnut cake. The chestnut topping wasn’t overly sweet, but it was incredibly delicious, with a very authentic flavor. The cream was of excellent quality, and while the sugar frosting at the bottom was a bit sweet, it paired perfectly with the tea I ordered. My friend had the strawberry cake, a dainty red square that was beautifully crafted. It wasn’t overly sweet either and had a surprisingly light taste. As for her iced coffee, it was practically undrinkable without milk—Parisians seem to just brew an espresso and serve it cold, making it unbearably bitter. Next time, I’ll stick to cakes here! Starting the morning with such a treat felt absolutely delightful!
