The most beautiful sunset scenery in Pattaya is at Hilton.

In Pattaya, there is a hotel that carries my fondest memories of Thailand. It is the Hilton hotel located right in the center of the beach. Ten years ago, when it first opened, I went on a free trip to Thailand and chose to stay in it when I landed in Pattaya. When checking in on the 16th floor, the orange sunset was shining through the floor-to-ceiling glass onto the water and swimming pool, and into the lobby. I was immediately captivated by this vivid and colorful scene. Just like the intense sweetness of love at first sight, it will never be forgotten in this lifetime. This time returning to Thailand, I want to reunite with this romantic place again. After driving for more than 2 hours from Bangkok, I arrived at the place I had been longing for, stepping on the sunset again. Ten years later, it has also undergone a renovation and still stands proudly in the center of Pattaya Beach, showcasing the scenery of the two bays on either side. Falling in love with someone, being together every day, even if you survive the seven-year itch, the rest of your life will only be spent in perfunctory, and you will never find back the passion you once had. The benefit of falling in love with scenery is that you don't get to see it every day, month, or year, so when you say goodbye, your feelings towards it will only deepen, and its beauty becomes even more attractive. The room I checked in and the one I first came to are the same, 2302, with a 180-degree panoramic sea view, and an outdoor bathtub that is parallel to the skyline. For three consecutive days, the thing I look forward to the most every day is waiting for the sunset and waiting for my lover to arrive. The hustle and bustle of the pedestrian street, the beauty of Tiffany's show, the enthusiasm of the Princess Cruise, and the heat on the beach, all pale in comparison to the fulfillment brought to me by waiting for my lover, the sunset. Waiting is a very ceremonial thing. On the first night, I snuggled on the sofa of the balcony in my room, drinking Tang Pailinong and enjoying the beauty of the fleeting sunset. That night, fireworks bloomed in the depths of the bay. Although I didn't know what they were celebrating, let's just take it as a welcome to my arrival. On the second night, I soaked in the pool and pool bar, enjoying the sunset with other customers on lounge chairs under the warm sunshine, savoring the beauty of when I first saw it. On the third night, I booked a rooftop dinner at Roof, where I could enjoy the 360-degree sky and cuisine without dead angles during the colorful sunset. Because it's a fine dining restaurant, I dressed up in a white jacket and black pants, but found myself out of place among other casually dressed guests. So I changed into a vest and ate fresh lobster and wagyu beef, enjoying the beautiful scenery until I was stuffed. In my life journey, I have seen the sunset rising with hot air balloons in Cappadocia, toasted with the sunset in a bathtub in Santorini, and enjoyed the sunset with a horse in Lake Manasarovar... So many beautiful memories belong to the sunset, but they cannot compare to the tearful moments at Hilton Pattaya. Here, the sunset is not just a scenery, but the most sincere and intense love, worthy of my wholehearted dedication. I don't know if the next time I see it will be in ten years. Or is this farewell for a lifetime? When we meet again, will my face be red or my eyes be red?
