It's like you travel thru time!

These pictures were taken at Wat Chaiwatthanaram,  “the Temple of Victory and Progress”. This temple has been built since 1630. Restoration efforts that began in 1987 turned Wat Chaiwatthanaram from ruins into one of the most visited tourist attractions in Ayutthaya Historical Park complex. Built in the traditional Khmer style, this temple is the most impressive and offers an insight into the influence of Buddhism in Thailand.Some part of the temple was appear in The Mortal Kombat movie and some video games. And oh by the way, to get to Ayutthaya you can use train, go directly buy tickets on the spot at Hua Lamphong Station, and it will take approximately 90 to 120 minutes. #summervacation
