I was fooled by the Banyan Tree Phuket, a thirty-year-old hotel that still manages to surprise me like this?

So I cancelled my hotel in Bangkok and decided to stay at Banyan Tree Phuket for two nights. Banyan Tree is an old hotel that opened in the last century, and it has been in business for thirty years. Some of the old rooms are indeed outdated and appear a bit old-fashioned. However, this time I stayed in a tranquil pool villa, which is the smallest in size but newly renovated, and the room rate is more expensive than the larger Banyan Tree pool villa. The overall experience was very good, the room facilities were very new and modern, and although the area was only 140 square meters, it was enough for one or two people to live in. The space allocation was reasonable, and there were no unnecessary partitions. The hotel's public areas were also quite beautiful, and it was very pleasant to have breakfast by the lake. However, it should be noted that although the hotel is not far from the sea, it has not been developed to the seaside, so there is no sea view. Overall rating: 9/10. I booked the hotel's airport transfer, and I saw someone saying before that only Banyan Tree can pick up people from the restricted area of Phuket Airport, and the process is very smooth. But now it seems that this privilege no longer exists. So my fellow travelers, don't be fooled by the hotel. There is actually no need to specifically book transfer services. Just like the rest of the crowd, you can mix with a bunch of hotels outside after picking up your luggage. However, the hotel is not far from the airport, about a thirty-minute drive, passing by a lively beach on the way. When I arrived at the hotel, I checked into a tranquil pool villa, newly renovated with an area of only 140 square meters, but the sense of space was still good. The guest room has an open suite layout, horizontally expanded. The bed faces the pool, with a sofa and dining table on one side and a bathroom on the other. The bedroom area is decorated in a modern minimalist style, which is really comfortable. The variety of breakfast choices is good, especially the fried banana and Thai milk tea flavored ice cream, which is delicious! The outdoor scenery is also very nice, but be careful of falling leaves and birds stealing food.
