Phuket Wild Spot: Yanui, Snorkeling & SunBathing

Unlike the main beach of the bay (with the same name Rawai), you can swim comfortably here. The beach is sandy, but sometimes there are stones at the entrance to the water. There is a shallow water area for children to swim in, but it is not fenced. A stone ledge divides the beach into two parts. The best time to swim at Yanui Beach is high tide. At low tide, there may be problems with entry due to rocky areas. You can view the table of tides on specialized websites — the lower the figure, the lower the water level. The tide usually lasts 3-4 hours. The water here is very clean, transparent, the bottom is clearly visible in the vicinity of the shore. Yanui Beach is ideal for snorkeling and it is considered one of the best places in Phuket for snorkeling. Very close to the shore, you can see an interesting bottom relief with picturesque corals and marine life of the Andaman Sea. Snorkeling masks and kayaking are available on the beach. The most popular kayaking route is around the nearest Koh Man Island. The whole coast is rocky. But snorkeling is great here. Those tired of a measured beach holiday can climb to the Yanui View Point observation deck. It is located on the top of a hill on the north side of the beach. The observation deck is ideal for meeting the sunset. Yanui Beach is not immediately noticeable on the map of Phuket due to its short length. It is located between Nai Harn Beach and Promthep Cape Observation Deck. There are several ways to get to Yanui Beach. From Nai Harn there is a road to the south (over a hill), you can get to Yanui in 5 minutes by motorbike. From Rawai Beach, you need to move west, the path will also take no more than 5 minutes by transport. You can cover the distance on foot in 30 minutes.
