Small pop up market in Phuket

Address: Boat Avenue, 49/13 Bandon-Cherngtalay Rd Cherngtalay Phuket 83110, Thailand Fun Friday Avenue Market is a small weekend night market popping up every Friday evening at Boat Avenue. There's a couple shopping pop up stalls and of course many street food stalls to look at. It's very lively and filed with lots of music and performances, perfect for meeting new people when you're traveling alone. I was blown away by the break dancers and street performance by the local. It was very entertaining to watch while munching on some street food. It was the last night in Thailand for me, and I had to end it with one of the popular street food - Steam buns served with pandan custard (20 baht). It was so soft and well balanced, not too sweet! I also ordered some fried chickens (25 baht per pcs) and takoyaki balls (8 for 60 baht), which I ate way too quickly before I remembered to take a photo. I purchased some handmade bracelets for 50baht each to bring back as souvenirs. The market was also surrounded by bars and restaurants which is also a good alternative to head to (if you're visiting on other days or outside the market timing). It's a must visit if you stay in the Bangtao Beach/Laguna area. Do head there early as a lot of the street food hoes out of stock past 9pm!
