The Superior Lake View and Garden View rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floors, while the Deluxe rooms are higher up. This time, I booked a Deluxe Lake View room, but due to three tour groups, the rooms were fully booked. Fortunately, I was upgraded to a Miao-style Mountain Residence. I thought I wouldn't be able to see the lake, but it turned out to be a full lake view. The room is about 65 square meters, with a nearly 6 square meter large balcony, very spacious. 🏨Hotel Environment: The hotel has two outdoor swimming pools, five public hot spring pools, and two paid hot spring pools. The water in the hot spring pools is replaced and circulated early in the morning, so it is quite clean. The swimming pools are relatively less crowded, and since it is mountain spring water, it is naturally 2 to 3 degrees cooler. But the water is really clear, making swimming very enjoyable. 🍽Dining Recommendations: First, let's talk about breakfast. The breakfast does not match the hotel's star rating but matches the price. For a hotel around 400 yuan, there are about 20 dishes plus some cooked items, and the taste is okay. The highlight is the fruit. It's the first time I've seen mangoes served at breakfast, juicy and soft. The Chinese restaurant is quite good, especially the beef dishes. The large coriander fried beef for 68 yuan per plate is tasty and generous in portion. Basically, one adult dish can satisfy one adult and two children. The price is also reasonable, with an average of about 50 yuan per person for all meat dishes. Jinjiang members get a 15% discount. ⏳Nearby Attractions: 1. The hotel is located inside Dishui Miao City. There are many Miao-style buildings and layered waterfalls, especially the Wind and Rain Bridge, which is very beautiful. 2. Dishui Miao City has a Yunnan Miao Medicine Museum, which introduces the origins of the Miao people and has a large number of medical specimens, quite spectacular and impressive. 3. Dishui Waterfall is a 10-minute drive from the hotel. It is tiring to go up and down, but as long as there is sunlight, there will be a rainbow. 4. Daweishan is also very close to the hotel. If you have time, you can explore this mysterious kingdom that has not been damaged by the Quaternary glaciers. 📝Tips: 1. It is recommended to hire a local taxi to go to Daweishan, costing 150-200 yuan per day. The ticket office of Daweishan Scenic Area is more than 10 kilometers away from the climbing point, and local taxis can drive directly to the climbing point. You have to queue up to take the shuttle bus in the scenic area. Due to the limited reception capacity of the scenic area, there were cases of queuing for two hours to go and two hours to return during the National Day holiday last year. 2. Dishui Miao City is in the new district, so you can't feel the strong local life. For travelers who want this kind of experience, it is recommended to stay in the old district. 3. Renting Miao costumes locally is very cheap, usually negotiable to 80 yuan per day, depending on your communication skills. If you have time, you can also spend a day as a Miao girl.
