KHAO YAI NATIONAL PARK!

Here is the sequence of places I visited: -Northern Entrance Gate at 830am: The gate actually opens at 8am if you want to maximise your visit. We paid 830THB in total for 2 foreigners entrance fee + entrance fee for the car. (Note: A car is needed here as Khao Yai National park is REALLY BIG, almost the size of Singapore!). -Khao Yai 30 km. View Point: This first view point we visited! -Visitor Centre: If you need leech socks (70THB per pair), drop by the visitor centre! It is not really needed if you are not walking any of the trails. I got it because I was fearful of the walks to the waterfalls though, even though we did not intendo walk any trails because of the limited timing. - Sai Sorn Reservoir: Very calm place to visit! Has a nice small viewing platform as well. -Haew Suwat Waterfall: An accessible waterfall, less than 5 minutes walk to get to the bottom. -Haew Narok Waterfall: Cater enough time as it is about 1km walk and a very steeeeeep, narrow and loooooong flight of staircase down (and up)! This was the more beautiful waterfall! -Viewpoint 3, Yod Khao Khieo Mountain: This was along the road with no place for the car to stop. Hence, we just drove by without stopping. -Pha Trom Jai Cliff: A must visit! Beautiful aerial view. You can drive the car all the way to the top to park and the viewpoint is right beside it. -Animal spotting: While we did not spot any wild elephants, we saw lots of monkeys, a sambal deer up at ต้นไม้มรดกชาติ#1 and more deers from afar at เส้นทางที่ 15 ภัตตาคารร้าง-ทุ่งหญ้ากวาง -Exit from the Northern gate at 3pm. Even without any walking trails, we took almost 6.5 hours! The national park closes at 6pm (unless you are staying for the night safari), so plan your time well!
