This is Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, located in the heart of Europe, attracting numerous visitors every year. I've just returned from Prague, and indeed, the beauty is overwhelming and the memories are unforgettable! ⛳Known as the City of a Thousand Spires and the capital of art, Prague is nicknamed for its layered historical periods and various architectural styles spread across the banks of the Vltava River, with its colorful and dazzling buildings. It's like stepping into a fairytale world, truly one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. 👠I arrived here at 2 pm, so I hurried to schedule the essential sights of Prague in these 4 hours ✔️Route: Prague Castle → Security Check → Royal Garden → Matthias Gate → Presidential Office → St. Vitus Cathedral → St. George's Basilica → Golden Lane → Viewing Platform → Descend the Hill → Lesser Town → Charles Bridge → Powder Tower → Old Town Square → Astronomical Clock → Church of Our Lady before Týn → Jan Hus Monument → Browse the Market → Watch the Sunset 1⃣️Prague Castle is located on the hill of Hradčany on the west bank of the Vltava River in Prague. You can take the tram to Prazsky hrad station to visit Prague Castle, enter the Royal Garden after the security check, and then pass through Matthias Gate, where you can take photos with the guards; 2️⃣Presidential Office (exterior), originally the palace of the Bohemian emperors, has been the office of the presidents since 1918. The main gate of the Presidential Office is a building in the style of the Habsburg dynasty. Outside there is a statue of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, the first president of Czechoslovakia, who was elected president after World War I and is known as the founding father of Czechoslovakia. 3⃣️St. Vitus Cathedral (exterior) is the most important landmark of Prague Castle, featuring Gothic architecture, with its door arches and flying buttresses being particularly ornate. It is also the place where the royal family of Prague Castle is crowned and laid to rest after death. 4⃣️St. George's Basilica (exterior), this red church with two towers, is the best-preserved Romanesque building in the Czech Republic; 5⃣️Viewing Platform, after walking through Golden Lane to the viewing platform, you can look down on the Prague city area on both sides of the Vltava River, with a clear view of Charles Bridge and the twin towers of the Church of Our Lady before Týn. Many scenic shots are taken here; 6⃣️Charles Bridge is the oldest and longest bridge in Europe, with 30 statues of saints on it, known as 'Europe's open-air Baroque sculpture gallery', and is one of the iconic sights of Prague; 7⃣️Astronomical Clock, the astronomical clock in the Old Town Square is not to be missed, installed on the south wall of the Old Town Hall, the clock tower was built in 1410 and is still accurate to this day.
