Guizhou Anshun丨Ice Age Loop Hike

👍️Recommended Reason: This is the last stronghold of the Wumeng Mountains, and the usual narrative endpoint of the legend of Yelang. It is one of the main tributaries of the Wujiang River, and each of its different sections offers impressive outdoor routes. 📅Hiking Guide: The loop hike covers twelve kilometers, taking about 4-6 hours, with an elevation gain and loss of about 300 meters (river beach + meadow + country road). Suitable for healthy individuals aged 5-69. Depart at 8:00 AM, navigate to: Laidao, Houchang Miao and Gelao Township, Anshun, Guizhou. The route follows along the riverbank, meadow, riverbed, boulder formations, and canyon. Around 17:30 PM, hike through the village to the endpoint: Wanwantou, Maodong Miao and Gelao Township, where you will see the 'Canyon Tourism Hotel'. 🏨Food Guide: Bring at least 3 bottles of electrolyte water, biscuits, braised chicken and beef, cherry tomatoes, apples, and other easily portable foods that do not generate a lot of waste. 💗Other Tips: Sunscreen, sunglasses, quick-dry clothes for changing, hiking shoes, sun hat, and garbage bags.
