Xinjiang Jiangbulak

| Travel Destination | Xinjiang Jiangbulak ① Attraction Introduction: The Jiangbulak Grassland is located in Qitai County, Changji, Xinjiang, and is a national 5A-level tourist attraction, about 250 kilometers away from Urumqi. Personally, I think if the itinerary is tight and you can't make it to places like Nalati or Xata, this place is also quite good, with snow-capped mountains, grasslands, flocks of sheep, and starry skies, satisfying the imagination of Xinjiang's grasslands. ② About Accommodation: There are two relatively mature hotels in the scenic area to choose from, one is Jiangbulak Hotel (Jiangbulak Tourist Distribution Center), and the other is Hexing Hotel. There is also a Ma'anshan Ethnic Style Park, which is all felt tents. We chose Jiangbulak Hotel, which is located opposite the Jiangbulak Grand Canyon, with a superior geographical location, built in a small pine forest, with acceptable accommodation conditions, clean and refreshing, with hot water, and equipped with heaters in the rooms. The downside is that the service attitude is very average, and also because it is a wooden structure, the sound insulation is not very good. The room includes breakfast, from 9:00 to 9:30, which is basically the shortest breakfast time we have encountered. If we come again next time, we might stay at Hexing Hotel. Out of curiosity about felt tent accommodation, we also went to the Ethnic Style Park for a visit. The owner was very enthusiastic and showed us the inside of the felt tent, which has a semi-circular kang with a table on it, and a coal-burning iron stove at the entrance. The felt tent does not have a separate bathroom, which makes washing up inconvenient, but the advantage is that it is cheap, with a ten-person felt tent costing only 400 yuan per room even in the peak season. ③ About Travel: I highly recommend self-driving, as the sun in Xinjiang in June is already very strong, and the days are long. The distances between scenic spots are very far, and each spot only has an open-air stop like a bus station. Waiting for the bus at the stop can be quite uncomfortable, and the shuttle bus only stops at a limited number of attractions. The deeper parts of the grassland can only be reached by self-driving. The sunset we shot this time was taken by driving to a small hill and then walking up. We were the only ones on the entire hilltop with the cattle and sheep, and the sense of vastness came out instantly. ④ About Dining: Some stops will have dairy snacks for sale. Starting from the Jiangbulak Grand Canyon stop, some subsequent stops should have simple meals for sale like yellow noodles and cold skin (I just saw the sign, did not purchase). You can also dine at Ma'anshan Ethnic Style Park, which offers barbecue, stir-fried dishes, and pilaf. We solved one dinner here. If you are staying in Jiangbulak, it is recommended to bring some self-heating rice, instant noodles, and other food supplies, as I did not see such fast food for sale in the scenic area. About Playing: Jiangbulak has the famous attraction Tianshan Mai Lang, but June is not the season to enjoy the wheat waves, and it still looks more like green grass now. Camel riding and horse riding are what the children are interested in, with camels at 50 yuan per round and horses at 70 yuan per round, led by someone and very safe. Additionally, there are traditional Kazakh costumes available for wearing, with adults at 30 yuan per set and children at 20 yuan per set.
