Stonehenge, a prehistoric megalithic structure ☀️🌙✨️ A mystical ancient wonder of the world. Although there are many facts, theories, and debates, the exact reason Stonehenge was built isn't confirmed. Its connection to the summer and winter solstice sunrise and sunset, along with its alignment with the stars and other phenomenal findings, indicate it is a place of potent energy and was very important to the people of that age. Stonehenge was number 1. on my list of things to see or should I say "feel" when visiting the UK. 🏠Where to stay: You can spend a night or 2 in Salisbury, there are some lovely inns like "The Kings Head Inn", which also has delicious, decently priced food. 📍How to get there: 1. The "ST bus" to Stonehenge from Salisbury, but remember this bus is around £20 pounds as it is a tourist bus. 2. The "X2 bus", as it's only £2 but the buses don't come frequently. *Use Google Maps to find these buses while in Salisbury, just type in Stonehenge and choose the public transport option. Both buses can be found on the same road. 3. Take a 7777s cab. It was £24 and took us about 30 minutes to get there. Their number is 01722 777777. 🍴Where to eat: They have a café at the visitors center where you enter/exit. 🎫 Ticket Prices: Adults: £25 upwards Children: £15 upwards *Depending on which day you go.
