When you come to a city, of course you have to visit its parks, and San Diego, California is no exception. Balboa Park, located in the northern part of downtown San Diego, was built in 1910 and is known as "America's largest urban cultural park," rivaling New York's Central Park. The park has 15 museums with themes ranging from human history to photography to art, as well as the famous San Diego Zoo. In addition to the museums, the park also has several gardens with different styles, such as the Rose Garden, Tropical Plant Greenhouse, Desert Park, Cactus Garden, and Palm Valley, all of which will surprise you with their discoveries.
