Mon Bridge

Mon Bridge, also known as Uttamanusorn Bridge, is located in Sangkhla Buri District. It is a wooden bridge built through the collective effort to cross the Songkalia River. The bridge was initiated by Luang Por Uttama of Wat Wang Wiwekaram. It is the longest wooden bridge in Thailand, measuring 850 meters in length, and is used for the commute of Mon and Thai people. If you visit Mon Bridge, it is recommended to stay overnight to experience the morning atmosphere and participate in the morning alms-giving. You can observe the Mon people's way of life and rent traditional Mon attire for memorable photos, marking your visit to this unique place.
