Sapa after Typhoon Yagi - we open ourselves to moment of unexpected beauty and inspiration ❤️

After Typhoon Yagi, Sapa was left with lot landslides that led to the closure of many attractions, Homestays, restaurants, and cafes by government. Our carefully crafted plans were abruptly cancelled, leaving us unsure of what to do next. Yet, instead of being discouraged - we chose resilience and decided to go with the flow. What followed was an unexpectedly enticing experience. We found joy in simplicity of following the locals - eating where they eat and even being invited to Hmong tribe’s home. Wandering around the quiet street of Sapa, without the usual tourist hustle, gave us time to truly connect with the essence of the town. Sometimes, life doesn’t go as planned, but in letting go of control, we open ourselves to moment of unexpected beauty and inspiration. Sapa showed us that sometimes, miracles happen when you least expect them.
