One of the World Oldest Tropical Rainforests

Endau Rompin National Park has existed for more than 248 million years and it is one of the oldest tropical rainforests in the world. It covers an area of ​​488 square kilometers and includes the south of the state of Pahang and part of the state of Johor. In the forest of Endau Rompin National Park there are about 14000 species of flowering plants, 600 species of flowers, 140 species of snakes, 150 species of frogs and more than 1000 species of insects.
