Hiking in Seoul during autumn

Autumn is the best period to hike in Seoul with the not too cold and not too hot weather. Is a bonus to catch the folilage if you are spot on the timing. So this is consider a beginner hike place- Bukhansan which is in seoul however with that being said it might be very tough for people who has never hiked before and not physically fit! Tips is to start early so that u can reach the Peak at least before noon and come down by 4pm before sunset! one way journey took an average of 4 to 5 hours or go up to 6 if you’re really struggling..Bear in mind the route is really slippery at some part due to the rocks and all so please do not simply wear your nike here! You need a proper hiking shoes with a good grip! Went therr without a guide as there are quite alot people hiking in the morning and there are signboards showing ways to the peak! As autumn weather is cold in the morning be prepared to layer up and take off when you ascend up! Pack your gimbap and water in your bag so that you can enjoy your lunch at the peak! There is no toilet other than some rest stops in between the mountain so be prepared for that! Everyone bought something along the 711 before the start of the hike thats the place you can get your gimbak or snack or even maegoli which the koreans love drinking that at the peak! Hiking poles and wind breaker with your hiking shoes will put you on a right path. View at the top is beyond words and the sense of achievement you get reaching is worth every struggle haha! Check on the weather and packed sufficiently to enjoy the hike! Urge everyone to visit/hike this during autumn as its beautiful view and autumn leaves foilage is just phenomenal!
