The first stop upon arriving in Seoul - Myeongdong

It was my first time in Seoul, and I headed straight to Myeongdong on the same day. Without a doubt, this place is the most well-known among foreigners, with the main attractions being shopping and dining. The Lotte and Shinsegae duty-free shops are the hottest spots for girls, where they can spend a long time at the mask and skincare counters. The restaurants and street food on both sides of the road, such as ginseng chicken soup, dumplings, fried chicken, cold noodles, and spicy stir-fried rice cakes, are just too spicy... If there's time, you might also enjoy a 'Nanta Show,' which is really funny. For those who are not keen on shopping, you can simply wander around the nearby alleys. In recent years, a new comic alley has been renovated, which isn't crowded with tourists and offers a view of the Namsan Seoul Tower; different cartoon characters appear on the buildings along the street, creating a bright and cute atmosphere amidst the uneven heights. This alley seems to be called 'Fun Road'.
