This newly opened hotel in Shanghai is beautifully innovative | Qiantan 31 Yachen

I've always loved Shanghai's Qiantan, and the recently opened Qiantan 31 Yachen Hotel gives me another reason to visit. ✨ The hotel's interior design comes from Ruoen, a designer I've always admired. There's a familiar style, but more importantly, a brilliant interpretation of the theme. Perhaps to match the style of the Qiantan 31 Performance Center of the Bank of Communications, the hotel always gives a "theatrical" vibe: The lobby on the first floor is inspired by Chinese folding fans, with its round arch shape reminiscent of a theater waiting area; The arch elements seen everywhere are in line with the elegant arch doors of the Performance Center, which are inspired by the Roman Colosseum. The space extends infinitely, softening the texture, both classic and romantic. ✨ The check-in lobby is on the L floor (5th floor), which also includes a restaurant, bar, bookshelf, conference and banquet hall, surrounded by a landscape terrace. Walking through it, you can see simple yet elegant grilles everywhere, giving a sense of strolling in a garden. It also gives the hotel, located in a bustling city, a hint of "urban vacation" vibe. ✨ During Christmas, the hotel's decorations are not extravagant, but thoughtful. The secret garden with a dome that can be opened with a single button is surrounded by vibrant green plants; the banquet hall with a dome design, where a Christmas tree seems to bathe in the "holy light"; the Christmas tree on the terrace is also very warm, and you can experience baking handiwork during Christmas and decorate a custom "gingerbread house". ✨ The temperament of the rooms is truly refreshing. Inspired by the color palette of traditional Chinese gardens, the custom wooden furniture full of forest atmosphere, and the texture presented by natural materials, all elevate the living experience. I must mention that all the amenities are from the British fragrance brand James Heeley (really haven't seen it in other hotels), the refreshing scent of summer verbena is refreshing. ✨ The dining is also very thoughtful, the restaurant itself is very beautiful, and there are various intimate little ceremonies.
