A pure land that can only be reached by boat

Nowadays, with highways extending in all directions, spontaneous trips can be made at any time, yet Hengsha Island remains inaccessible by highway. Therefore, when friends proposed a half-day trip, there was initial hesitation due to concerns about the tight schedule. However, not wanting to miss the splendid spring sunshine and the gentle breeze, I gladly accepted the invitation. A friend's husband drove us through the Yangtze River Tunnel to the ferry terminal located at the southeastern end of Changxing Island. To our surprise, there was only one small car ahead of us, and after waiting for about ten minutes, we boarded the ferry. The ferry ride across the river took about ten minutes to reach Hengsha Island. The narrow road on the island was very smooth, and the rural houses along the way were only two to three stories high, accompanied by small bridges over flowing water and vibrant farmlands, which was refreshing and pleasing to the soul.
