Bāguānzhāi

Bāguānzhāi is located in the southwest of the ancient city of Shangqiu, Henan Province. The scenic area mainly preserves the remnants of the 'Songzhou Bāguānzhāi Huì Bàodé Jì' stele written by Yan Zhenqing, a great calligrapher of the Tang Dynasty. This stele is also a typical work of the 'Yan Style' calligraphy. Learning about the historical events of that time can be quite shocking and moving to the soul. The attraction is not very large, and there is a small treasure museum inside, which houses some famous calligraphy rubbings. Interested friends can come to the site for a detailed appreciation. There is a parking lot nearby, which is convenient for those driving.
