Ke Rock Scenic Area in spring

April 7, 2024, visiting the Ke Rock Scenic Area. 1. Transportation in the scenic area: Shaoxing public transportation is very convenient. We took the 177 bus from the Lu Xun's Hometown Scenic Area, and it took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to reach the scenic area directly. 2. Tickets: The scenic area is very large, including Ke Rock Scenic Area, Jian Lake Scenic Area, and Lu Town, three parts. Booking tickets on Ctrip, the full ticket is 90 yuan, and the discounted ticket (60-70 years old, 55 yuan), including a one-way ticket for the painted boat cruise. When we arrived at the Ke Rock Scenic Area, it was raining heavily, and we visited in the rain. 3. Features of the scenic area: 1. Ke Rock Scenic Area: The main features are the 'Cloud Bone' and the Stone Buddha. The Stone Buddha, also known as 'Heavenly Crafted Buddha', was carved by our ancestors more than 1400 years ago. The 'Cloud Bone' is a giant rock over 30 meters high, larger at the top and smaller at the bottom, with the narrowest part at the base being just over 1 meter wide. It was already formed during the period of Sun Quan in the Three Kingdoms, with at least 1800 years of history. These two uniquely shaped landscapes have become historical testimonies left behind after ancient stone mining, and are very iconic. In addition, there is a Puzhao Temple in the scenic area, as well as some relics left from ancient stone mining. 2. Jian Lake Scenic Area: Main attractions include the Nine-Turn Bridge, black-awning boats, and the ancient towpath, which are very characteristic of the water towns in the south of the Yangtze River, especially now in mid-spring, with green willow branches, small bridges over flowing water, and black-awning boats, presenting a beautiful spring scene of the south. 3. Lu Town is a man-made scenic area based on scenes described in Mr. Lu Xun's works such as 'The True Story of Ah Q' and others. It features traditional opera, double-sided opera houses, small bridges over flowing water, black-awning boats, and scenes with characters like Ah Q and Mother Wu, allowing visitors to reminisce and experience the life scenes from Mr. Lu Xun's childhood.
